We joined in a national event that was organised locally by the Springfield Christian Fellowship on behalf of all the churches in Telford for the International Relief Organisation - Samaritans Purse.
The aim, to raise money for people in countries with little or no access
to water under the 'umbrella' title of TURN ON THE TAP.
Four miles was chosen because this is the average time and distance that women and children in Africa
and Asia have to walk to meet their daily needs. We walked along the Silkin Way from Coalport (from the home of Steve and
Lisa who kindly provided bacon baps before departure) to Southwater Square (Telford Centre).
